Agreement and Contract Law

Agreement and contract law is the foundation of our business, both in terms of advice and litigation. We primarily assist with commercial contracts. 

Depending on your needs, we can assist in all phases of commercial contracts. We assist in the drafting of all types of commercial contracts, both large and small. This can include negotiation and contract conclusion, if the client requires this. For our regular clients, it is common for us to participate in all phases of contract drafting, negotiations and contract conclusion. We also assist in the operational phase, with contract interpretation, possibly in the transfer phase and the termination phase, i.e. when contracts are terminated.

Most contracts are fulfilled and settled in the normal way. For commercial contracts, we are often contacted when something goes wrong and the client needs to resolve a dispute. In other words, we come in first when there is an anomaly from the norm. Ultimately, this will involve litigation. However, there are many ways to resolve a contractual dispute. Different types of out-of-court settlements and different types of judicial settlements, e.g. court mediation, will resolve most contractual disputes.
