Constitutional and Administrative Law

Constitutional and administrative law forms the foundation of Kristensen's approach and advisory services within the legal field. We assist private actors with issues related to constitutional and administrative law in their interactions with public authorities.

A practical area of focus is planning and building law, in which we possess deep expertise. We work with or against planning decisions, including through litigation. Building law is equally central. We provide assistance when issues arise and frequently collaborate with building authorities.

Legislation and regulatory drafting can be seen as part of a collaboration with the public sector. For private actors, we draft proposals for laws or regulations or participate in consultation rounds. Currently, we are working on amendments to two specific regulations under the auspices of the Supplier Development and Competence Center (LUKS).

Litigation is of practical importance when working with constitutional and administrative law. We assist with dispute resolution, where litigation in the courts is a last resort. Administrative discretion and the doctrine of abuse of power are often central to the cases we handle.
